Billy Wilder collaborated with Raymond Chandler on Double Indemnity (1944). He collaborated with Charles Brackett: Ninotchka (1939), Major and the Minor, The (1942), Five Graves to Cairo (1943), Lost Weekend, The (1945), The Emperor Waltz (1948), Foreign Affair, A (1948), and Sunset Blvd. (1950)
He also wrote many of his own movies working with other writers for hire: Mauvaise Graine (1934), Ace in the Hole (1951), Stalag 17 (1953), Sabrina (1954), The Seven Year Itch (1955), Witness for the Prosecution (1957), and The Spirit of St. Louis (1957).

Park Chan Wook
Bob Clark, the director of the classic holiday film A Christmas Story, was killed in a car crash on Wednesday morning. He is best known for directing A Christmas Story. If you haven’t seen it around the holidays it runs 24 hours a day. Pure genius. Clark also directed the cult horror film, Black Christmas(not to be confused with the 2006 remake) He helmed the hugely successful teen sex farce, Porky’s. Other notable films include: Rhinestone and Turk 182.
